CLIFTON FORGE — A two-year-old boy who was taken from a Giles County church was found safe Monday at a Clifton Forge trailer park.


FBI agents and a Virginia State Police tactical team found Noah Gabriel Trout at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Nancy Renee Fridley, 44, of Clifton Forge, has been charged with one count of abduction and one count of felony child endangerment.

The boy was reunited with his parents and taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

Giles County Sheriff Morgan Millirons provided few details at a Monday evening press conference.

“The investigation is ongoing and we need to be careful about information that is released,” the sheriff said.Noah Trout was taken from the Riverview Baptist Church’s nursery in Ripplemead by an unidentified woman who left with the child in a dark-colored van or SUV, initial police reports said.
